Amazing views of the river valley and smooth flowing singletrack. The trail rides along the ridges above Amity Creek on either side of Seven Bridges Rd. The access points are on either side of the 2nd bridge and the 7th bridge. Both have small gravel parking areas.
Difficulty: Intermediate (but 90% non-technical)
Length: Lollipop with a mile long stem and a 4.5 mile loop

Beautiful park with hardwood forests, open grassland marsh, and a large rock bluff. Some trails are fairly rocky and rooty, but not overly difficult. There are ski trails and hiking trails. Review map thoroughly ahead of time.

Pokegama Trail (Superior, WI)

An amazingly quiet, out-of-the-way place where sighting a great blue heron flying up from the lily pads is more likely than seeing another human. The Pokegama Trail is a “purpose built” mountain bike trail, meaning it was built to present a technically challenging four-mile ride.

Follow along streams, drainages, meadows, through a cedar grove, and see some of the best views of the St. Louis River Valley found anywhere. Most of the trail is intermediate in technical difficulty, but the elevation changes can be quite challenging. There are also two intermediate to advanced level downhill trails with tabletop jumps and some steep descents.
